On September 26, the European Day of Languages celebrated the value of multilingualism in fostering cultural understanding and global opportunities. To mark the occasion, the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao, alongside Alliance Française, Goethe-Institut, and several European consulates, hosted a “Speak Dating” event at Festival Walk. Participants explored multiple languages through fun games and quizzes led by foreign teachers, learning greetings and expressions. Twenty-four Grade 6 students from our school joined enthusiastically, experiencing 12 European languages, winning prizes, and enjoying interactive activities. The event inspired joy in language learning and strengthened appreciation for cultural diversity and future studies.

On September 11, Grade 6 German students, led by Mr. Karsten Berning, visited the Goethe-Institut Hong Kong, a cultural hub promoting German language and culture since 1963. Guided by Mr. Maik Cheung, students explored classrooms named after German cities and admired graffiti-style art blending German vocabulary with Chinese explanations. They toured the library, discovering books on German literature, history, and art, as well as magazines for young readers. The visit concluded with interactive cultural activities, where students learned about German festivals, cuisine, and daily life while practicing vocabulary. Enthusiastic participation reflected their growing interest in German language and culture.

第二十四屆家教會週年大會於2025年10月17日圓滿舉行。校長陳偉傑感謝上屆委員的貢獻，並宣佈鄭強先生Eric (5B鄭宇軒爸爸)為新屆主席，陳美儀女士Peggy (2B潘善予媽媽)及何成輝先生Patrick (5A何允祈爸爸)擔任副主席。大會亦邀得社工施倩俐主講「跌而不倒」講座，推動家長建立正向思維與家庭文化，攜手營造愉快的學習環境。

本校於2025年6月25日舉行的「公益金便服日支票遞交儀式及頒獎禮」上，榮獲香港公益金頒授「全港十大最高籌款機構」殊榮，總籌款金額達$141,242。這已是本校連續第三年獲此殊榮。謹向所有參與及支持是次活動的家長、學生及教職員致以最誠摯的謝意。

本年七月，本校舉行第二十五屆畢業典禮，在頒獎環節中表揚學生在學業、品德及創意等方面的表現，各班學生亦帶來別出心裁的舞台演出，展現合作精神。感謝家長義工的協助及每一位家長的支持，家校合作對學生成長意義非凡！

在「第二十四屆西貢區傑出學生選舉2025」中，黎晴怡(6A*)、梁天兒(6D*)和張舒雯(6E*)三位同學憑藉出色表現，榮膺「十大傑出學生」殊榮，體現了優才對學生的全面培育。恭喜三位得獎學生！

2025年4月至5月，優才書院與上海市古美學校開展了交流互訪。古美師生代表蒞臨優才期間，不僅參與了充滿溫情的母親節早會，走進才華班課堂體驗特色教學，還踏入四年級課室感受優才課堂的獨特魅力。優才負責接待的同學更化身「小嚮導」，帶著古美同學逛海洋公園、遊維多利亞港、登太平山頂，使古美同學賓至如歸。

去年十二月，優才六年級學生與北京門頭溝小學的同學們結下了珍貴的筆友情誼。到了六月，優才學生踏足北京，遊覽居庸關長城、鳥巢、水立方、故宮等，並與門頭溝小學的筆友們見面。同學們不僅飽覽了首都的古今風采，更收獲了深厚的友誼與鮮活的知識，成就了一趟意義非凡的旅程。

今年20位五、六年級同學參加了西班牙文化探索之旅，居住於大學城薩拉曼卡(Salamanca)與當地教師進行沉浸式語言學習，並親身走訪聖埃斯特萬教堂、卡薩麗斯博物館、皇家馬德里班拿貝球場、馬德里王宮等名勝，深入了解西班牙悠久的歷史底蘊與豐富的文化內涵，收穫滿載。
